Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. Operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands, CEC Entertainment has established itself as a top destination for families seeking fun, food, and memorable experiences. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, the company has built a reputation centered on creating an exciting environment for kids and families to eat, play, and celebrate special moments. The celebration of over half a million birthdays annually highlights the company's dedication to making joyful, lasting memories. CEC Entertainment is also committed to safety and community support, backed by programs like Kid Check and over $24 million donated to schools and nonprofits. Honored with the "Best in STEM" award and recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, the company exemplifies leadership in innovation and employee well-being.
The role of a Game Room Attendant at Chuck E. Cheese offers a dynamic work environment ideal for first-time job seekers as well as those looking to build a long-term career in entertainment and hospitality. Cast Members are empowered to provide exceptional service through cross-training in a variety of roles, which fosters growth and internal promotion–over 60% of the managers were promoted from within. This position entails supporting guests as they enjoy games, ensuring all machines are clean, safe, and operational to maintain a fun and engaging atmosphere. The Game Room Attendant plays a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by offering assistance, monitoring game functionality, and maintaining a welcoming and energetic environment.
In addition to an exciting workplace culture focused on food, family, and fun, Chuck E. Cheese offers its employees innovative pay options including the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which allows staff to access their earned wages instantly rather than waiting for traditional pay cycles. This benefit is designed to support the financial well-being of employees. CEC Entertainment also provides a competitive benefits package catering to all employees nationally, including telemedicine, employee meal discounts, retirement savings plans like 401(k), tuition savings and scholarships, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Part-time staff may enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision options, and voluntary life and disability benefits, while full-time employees enjoy comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, paid holidays, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) options, life and disability insurance, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support.
The essential functions of the Game Room Attendant role require physical capabilities such as lifting or carrying objects up to 50 pounds, and the ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push or pull, walk, and squat throughout the shift. Due to the environment involving flashing lights, mechanical parts, and loud noises, the attendant must also effectively manage job stress and interact positively with guests and co-workers. CEC Entertainment values diversity, inclusion, and a welcoming culture where employees reflect the diverse backgrounds of their guests. As an equal opportunity employer, the organization prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected class. The company ensures reasonable accommodations are made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions, maintaining a safe and inclusive workplace.
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a fun and family-friendly setting, with flexible shifts and strong potential for career advancement. The company’s commitment to employee growth, innovation, and a positive workplace environment make Chuck E. Cheese a compelling choice for those seeking employment in the entertainment and hospitality industry.
