The company is nationally recognized for its dedication to creating joyful, lasting memories for families through fun, food, and play. Celebrated for hosting over half a million birthdays annually, Chuck E. Cheese is the place "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid," fostering a vibrant, safe, and playful environment for children and families. Beyond its entertainment offerings, CEC Entertainment is committed to community support and safety, demonstrated through programs like Kid Check® and contributing over $24 million to schools and nonprofits.
CEC Entertainment champions diversity, equity, and inclusion in its workforce and emphasizes employee well-being. The company has received notable industry accolades, including the "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces. Through its innovative programs and employee-focused culture, CEC Entertainment provides a dynamic workplace for team members at all levels.
Now hiring Game Room Attendants, the company seeks enthusiastic individuals who enjoy engaging with guests and ensuring that the fun environment remains safe, clean, and fully operational. This role supports the gaming experience for customers, particularly kids and families, by monitoring and maintaining games in the game room. Game Room Attendants must be energetic and possess strong customer service skills, as they directly interact with guests to provide memorable, positive experiences. This position offers flexible shifts and the opportunity for career advancement, with many managers promoted from within, highlighting CEC’s commitment to internal growth.
The Game Room Attendant role provides commission opportunities based on sales of Memberships and Fun Passes, with tiered commission structures for exempt and non-exempt positions, paid bi-weekly. Additionally, Chuck E. Cheese offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program allowing employees access to earned wages without waiting for scheduled paydays. Benefits include competitive pay, a 50% meal discount during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarships, perks and discounts programs, an employee referral program, and the CEC Cares Fund to assist employees during emergencies.
The work environment includes some physical demands like lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and employees must be comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, walking, and squatting. The role also requires managing stress in a setting with flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. CEC Entertainment prioritizes health and safety, maintaining rigorous sanitation standards and operational procedures that comply with local regulations, ensuring a safe workplace for all team members. Reasonable accommodations are provided to individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties effectively.
As an equal opportunity employer, CEC Entertainment values a diverse workforce and does not discriminate based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. This welcoming culture encourages applicants from all backgrounds who want to contribute to a fun, inclusive workplace where families and employees alike feel valued.
