The Game Management Coordinator is primarily responsible for compiling and reporting detailed statistics from athletic contests to the NAIA and GSAC Conference offices, as well as maintaining the posting of results on the official athletics website, www.lsugoldeneagles.com. On game days, this individual oversees the coordination and management of student workers who assist with essential tasks such as set-up and tear down of event facilities, managing statistics computers, handling equipment for live streaming the games, and other critical logistics needed for seamless event execution. This role requires extensive knowledge of various sports and an ability to manage multiple facets of game day operations, including ticket sales, crowd control assistance, and coordination with opposing teams.

In addition to operational responsibilities, the Game Management Coordinator plays a key role in creating gameday scripts to ensure smooth event flow, coordinating pregame and halftime activities such as the National Anthem and flag ceremonies, and facilitating communication between athletic staff, officials, and spectators. Familiarity with technology platforms such as PrestoSports/PrestoStats, SIDEARM Website, Volleywrite, Hudl, and Production Truck systems is essential. The coordinator also supervises and schedules student workers, ensures compliance with all university and athletic governing body policies, and works closely with the Sports Information Director and the Marketing department for event publicity. Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends, is required to support athletic events effectively.
