The role of a Game Guide at The Escape Game is essential to the success of the guest's visit. Game Guides act as world-class hospitality experts who thrive on anticipating and fulfilling every guest's needs. They create a welcoming, fun, and memorable atmosphere for guests of all ages by enthusiastically guiding them through the escape room experience. Each escape room requires players to work together to complete a mission by finding clues and solving puzzles within a set time frame. Game Guides set the tone from the moment guests arrive, introducing them to the game with a lively and conversational approach.
During gameplay, Game Guides monitor team progress using specialized software to ensure all participants are enjoying their experience. They provide assistance as needed and celebrate guest successes at the conclusion of the game. Additionally, Game Guides are responsible for resetting the escape rooms quickly and accurately using setup sheets and specialized tools, maintaining game components to ensure flawless operation, and upholding high standards of cleanliness and organization in the facility. This role demands excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and the ability to multitask efficiently.

This is a dynamic position requiring physical activity such as deep cleaning, bending, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
- ability to handle physical activity such as deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30-40 lbs, and minor game repairs
- skilled in using small tools and strong magnets when resetting games
- ability to quickly reset locks, drawers, shelves, and game components within specific time frames
- alignment with TEG’s Uniform Standards

Job Duties
- Embodying our mission, vision, and values during every shift
- leading groups of 2-12 in fun, friendly conversation
- collecting information and making meaningful connections with guests
- enthusiastically explaining TEG games and products
- using Game Guide software to monitor games and assist guests
- using HMI (Human-Machine Interface) to operate our games
- giving a recap of the experience in the outro
- ensuring operational excellence on shift by ensuring game components function properly
- using setup sheets to accurately reset games
- cleaning games and TEG’s facility
- being timely and exemplifying excellent time management skills in order to stay on schedule for the games assigned
- restocking inventory
- completing necessary reports
- immediately and graciously resolving service failures
- ensuring each guest has a five-star experience and leaves happy
