The Game Day Server position at Baylor University is an opportunity for individuals to be involved specifically with the premium guest experience during Baylor’s football home games. This is a seasonal role running from May 1st, 2026, through August 30th, 2026, with a competitive hourly wage of $14.00 plus tips. Positions within this role include concessions attendant, buffet attendant, beverage attendant, tailgate attendant, loge attendant, and suite attendant. Each of these roles carries the responsibility of providing outstanding food and beverage service in various premium settings including suites, tailgate areas, and club lounges. These established roles require staff who are not only efficient but able to maintain a high level of professionalism and friendliness in their interactions with guests.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred
  • At least one year of experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred
  • Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and select holidays
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure accuracy and completeness in tasks
  • Ability to multitask effectively

  • Strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED strongly preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred

  • Ability to work independently during slower times

Job Duties

  • Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events consistent with Baylor Club standards of service
  • Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met
  • Setup and maintain both food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building consistent with Baylor Club standards of service
  • Maintain and inventory for both food and beverage stations
  • Maintain all event areas and front of house staging areas in a tidy and organized manner
  • Participate in both setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items
  • Perform safe work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment
  • Have a high level of social contact
  • ability to work closely with staff and deal often with patrons
