Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- At least 1 year experience in event management preferred
- Possess and maintain a clear criminal and driving record
- Capable of obtaining and maintaining CPR and First Aid certification
- At least 21 years of age
- Current driver's license issued by state of residence
- Satisfactory motor vehicle report
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds
- Capable of working in varying weather conditions
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in hospitality management, event management, public relations, marketing, or business administration
- Associate degree or specialized certifications such as Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) also considered
- At least 1 year of experience in event management preferred
- Knowledge of public event regulations, health and safety codes, permits, insurance, and crowd control
- Basic knowledge of event promotion and social media marketing
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage and lead a team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Act as the primary point of contact with clients throughout the entire event process
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing personalized attention
- Develop detailed schedules and logistical plans for each event
- Oversee vendor communications and ensure timely fulfillment of their roles
- Supervise the setup, execution, and breakdown of events
- Manage special requests and accommodations for guests
- Gather feedback after events and complete all post-event duties
