This position offers full-time and part-time opportunities with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour, making it an excellent choice for those seeking consistent hours without late-night shifts.
The role’s primary responsibility involves the meticulous handling of dirty dishes, glasses, silverware, linens, and waste products to maintain hygiene standards and support culinary operations. This includes setting up washing areas, scrubbing and prewashing cooking pots and utensils, operating dishwashing machinery, and properly storing cleaned items. Additionally, the Utility Worker manages the disposal and recycling of trash and cardboard, helping to uphold environmental practices within the community. FVK emphasizes not only the practical skills needed for this role but also values a cooperative and courteous attitude, as the position entails regular interaction with residents, families, colleagues, and vendors.
FVK’s culture is anchored by its Extraordinary Impressions program, which uses 10 Hospitality Promises to guide daily interactions and service delivery. As such, this job is ideal for an enthusiastic, compassionate individual passionate about hospitality and senior engagement. The company fosters an atmosphere where employees can grow and be recognized for their contributions while helping build a community that seniors are proud to call home. Employees at FVK also experience a supportive work environment where their professional and personal well-being is prioritized through ongoing training and performance feedback.
