The Valet position at ABM offers a professional, courteous, and compassionate guest service experience, serving as a frontline representative of the company. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience operating both standard and automatic transmissions preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Customer service experience is an asset
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods

Job Duties

  • Coordinate traffic flow
  • Communicate valet procedure, information, and directions clearly with guests
  • Understand and respond appropriately to customer and team member inquiries
  • Monitor illegal parking and immediately store vehicles
  • Interact with guests in a friendly manner
  • Assist guests with loading and unloading
  • Collect and secure guest keys
  • Predict and communicate traffic flow peaks and lot issues
  • Identify and arrange extra support for extended wait times
  • Accurately tally and split the tip pool
  • Receive and receipt various valet payments
  • Accurately reconcile and report daily revenue
  • Project currency and coin requirements and reorder as necessary
  • Operate, park, and retrieve all vehicles safely by obeying traffic laws, facility policies, and pedestrian regulations
  • Work outdoors in all climates for extended periods
  • Keep work area clean of debris
