Serving clients in all 50 states, the company boasts more than 200 branch banking locations across Illinois, southwestern Florida, northwestern Indiana, western Michigan, and southern Wisconsin. Additionally, Wintrust maintains commercial banking offices in key cities such as Chicago, Denver, Milwaukee, and Grand Rapids, Michigan, reinforcing its strong regional presence and commitment to client service excellence.

As a NASDAQ-listed entity under the symbol "WTFC," with assets totaling $66 billion, Wintrust is recognized not only for its financial strength but also for its vibrant workplace culture. These achievements highlight Wintrust's dedication to fostering an inclusive, employee-centric environment that values career growth, community involvement, and work-life balance.

The Teller position at Wintrust offers a unique opportunity to be a frontline representative of the firm’s commitment to personalized banking services. This is an onsite role with an estimated hourly pay ranging from $19.00 to $21.00, accompanied by eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. The teller will be responsible for processing a variety of financial transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments, ensuring all transactions are accurately balanced. Operating teller drawers in both lobby and drive-up settings, the teller will provide efficient, friendly service to customers and bank personnel.

Beyond transactional duties, the role involves identifying potential cross-sell opportunities, facilitating connections between customers and appropriate bank personnel, and developing vigilance in recognizing potential fraud. Maintaining compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and upholding the established Wintrust culture are paramount. Additional responsibilities may include opening and closing the bank and participating in community events, reinforcing Wintrust’s commitment to community engagement.

Wintrust values candidates who bring at least six months of experience in cash handling or customer service, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and are adaptable to travel between branches as necessary. Flexibility is crucial, with the need to work all shifts including Saturdays and the physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods during shifts. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic banking environment, appreciate the value of teamwork, and are eager to grow within a company that promotes from within.

Joining Wintrust means becoming part of a well-respected, financially robust institution that not only delivers exceptional banking services but also prioritizes the professional development and well-being of its employees.
