The Store Manager Trainee program at ALDI is an exceptional opportunity for passionate and driven individuals to develop the skills and expertise required to successfully lead their own store. This full-time position, with an estimated 45 hours per week, offers a starting wage of $29.50 per hour and an estimated first-year earning potential of up to $106,500, inclusive of salary and potential bonuses. You will be involved in multiple aspects of store operations, including personnel management, resolving customer and employee concerns, overseeing inventory and cash handling procedures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. prior experience in a retail environment
prior management experience

Job Duties

Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure desired results
leads and develops store personnel
develops and implements action plans using company provided resources to improve operating results
oversees the appropriate resolution of employee and customer concerns, aligning with the district manager as needed
interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager
manages personnel including recommending personnel for advancement and termination as appropriate
communicates, cooperates, and interacts effectively with all levels of ALDI personnel, customers, third-party vendors, and business partners
collaborates in the resolution of any issues that arise within the store to minimize potential liability
leads, develops, and supervises the team to develop sales, engage teams, satisfy customers, and achieve high performance
understands and oversees the execution of the overarching company strategy while communicating and modeling the core values
fosters a positive and collaborative working environment and promotes teamwork
oversees and manages compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
trains and develops store personnel to achieve their maximum potential using appropriate training materials
observes and evaluates employees’ work performance and provides feedback and coaching
ensures store personnel comply with customer service guidelines and appropriate interactions
resolves concerns from personnel and customers independently or escalates to the district manager
models, communicates, and supervises compliance with company policies and procedures
ensures a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment
prepares, manages, and revises weekly schedules
ensures adherence to expense guidelines, inventory and cash handling policies
maintains store zone and merchandising standards
acts to improve operational results and implements plans to achieve store KPI goals and budgets
attends and participates in meetings such as district operations calls, management meetings, and training sessions
plans and conducts meetings including store team meetings and company-related events
