Full-Time Store Associate

As a Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment that enhances the customer shopping experience. This full-time position offers an average of 30 or more hours per week, starting at $19.00 per hour with incremental wage increases over the years of service. Your work primarily involves merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and completing general cleaning duties to keep the store looking its best. You will also support curbside pickup services by fulfilling online orders accurately and efficiently.

The role demands a hands-on approach requiring the ability to push, pull, lift (up to 45 pounds), and stand for extended periods while working in varying temperature environments, including freezers and coolers. Operating various store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubbers, cardboard balers, and pallet jacks is a key component of daily duties. You will follow ALDI’s point-of-sale system protocols to manage transactions accurately and resolve any discrepancies with store management.

Working closely with store management and team members, the Store Associate supports operational efficiency goals and safety standards by identifying hazards and ensuring equipment is maintained properly. Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as you represent ALDI’s commitment to courteous, prompt service. You will be responsible for modeling ALDI’s customer service principles while assisting customers and escalating concerns as necessary.

Qualifications for this role include the ability to communicate clearly, perform basic arithmetic, follow instructions with a keen eye for detail, and work both independently and as part of a team. Prior retail experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.
