Full-Time Store Associate

This full-time Store Associate position offers an average of 30 or more hours per week and starts at an attractive wage of $18.00 per hour, with scheduled wage increases over the years, reaching up to $20.00 per hour in the fifth year. The role is vital to delivering the ALDI customer promise by maintaining organized, visually appealing store shelves and facilitating efficient checkout processes. As a Store Associate, you will engage in a variety of tasks including stocking, merchandising, cashiering, and general cleaning to keep the store in excellent condition and maximize sales opportunities.

The position requires excellent teamwork, communication, and customer service skills to ensure a positive shopping atmosphere. You will work collaboratively with store management and fellow employees to uphold store policies, safety guidelines, and loss prevention measures. Daily duties include operating the point-of-sale system accurately, managing inventory responsibly, and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner. Your role ensures that customers can find products quickly, enjoy exceptional service, and have a seamless shopping experience from entry to exit.

In addition to serving customers directly, you will also contribute to store operations by supporting curbside pickup orders and maintaining compliance with merchandising plans and safety standards. This dynamic role involves physical activities such as lifting products up to 45 pounds, stocking shelves at various heights, and operating store equipment including cash registers, electric and manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers. You will also work in varying temperature environments, including freezer and cooler areas, ensuring proper shelving and product handling at all times.
