As a store associate at ALDI, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and pleasant shopping experience for customers. The position offers competitive compensation, starting at $18.00 per hour with scheduled wage increases based on tenure, including $18.50 in year two, $19.00 in years three and four, and $20.00 in year five. As a full-time role averaging 30 or more hours per week, the store associate position provides both stable employment opportunities and the chance to grow within the company.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting customers with their purchases, utilizing the point-of-sale system accurately, monitoring product quality by informing management about outdated or damaged items, and adhering to ALDI’s cash handling policies. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with merchandising planograms to maximize sales, complete curbside pickup orders efficiently, and support a safe work environment by identifying potential hazards and maintaining equipment. The physical demands include lifting and stocking products up to 45 pounds in varying temperatures, operating equipment such as cash registers and floor scrubbers, and performing general cleaning tasks.

Previous retail experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory, as comprehensive training is provided.
