Full-Time Store Associate

As a Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a critical role in maintaining the store’s presentation and enhancing the customer shopping experience. This full-time position involves a variety of tasks including merchandising and stocking products, operating cash registers, providing friendly and effective customer service, and ensuring the store remains clean and organized. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to meet operational goals while complying with company policies and standards. This position offers a competitive starting wage of $19.00 per hour with scheduled wage increases based on tenure, starting from the second year up to the fifth year where the pay can reach $21.00 per hour. The role averages 30+ hours per week, providing stability and opportunities to grow within the retail environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for following merchandising planograms to optimize sales, accurately processing transactions with the point-of-sale system, and maintaining loss prevention measures by reporting outdated or damaged products. You will also help complete curbside pickup orders accurately and efficiently, which contributes to an outstanding customer experience. Your adherence to inventory and product handling guidelines will support operational efficiency, while your attention to safety and hazard identification will help foster a safe workplace environment. Physical demands of the job include lifting products up to 45 pounds, operating manual and electric equipment such as jacks and floor scrubbers, and working in various temperature conditions including freezers and coolers.
