In addition to these core duties, Store Associates stock shelves and displays according to merchandising guidelines, ensuring the store layout maximizes product visibility and sales. They also fulfill curbside pickup orders by accurately retrieving and verifying items and delivering them to customers efficiently. Maintaining zone and merchandising standards helps keep the store organized and visually appealing. Store Associates assist management in achieving operational goals such as efficiency and minimizing loss, while also supporting a safe work environment by identifying hazards and ensuring proper use and upkeep of equipment.

Physical demands in this role include pushing, pulling, sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting products weighing up to 45 pounds. Associates operate various types of store equipment like cash registers, floor scrubbers, pallet jacks, and cardboard balers, and work in different temperature environments including freezers and coolers. Common cleaning tasks involve using glass and multipurpose cleaning products to maintain the store’s appearance. The role requires stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety and inventory procedures diligently.

ALDI seeks candidates who can deliver excellent customer service, operate store equipment proficiently, and communicate effectively.
