This full-time position offers an average of 30 or more hours per week, with a competitive starting wage of $20.00 per hour that increases over time to reward your loyalty and performance. As a store associate, you'll be at the forefront of the ALDI team, responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering with precision, and maintaining a clean and inviting store atmosphere. Your daily activities will include utilizing the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, following cash handling procedures, and opening additional checkout lanes to manage busy periods efficiently. Additionally, you'll be expected to stock shelves according to specific merchandising planograms designed to maximize sales and complete curbside pickup orders, ensuring a seamless customer experience from store to vehicle. Safety is a top priority at ALDI, so you will support management in maintaining a safe work environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment properly. This role also involves physical tasks such as lifting products weighing up to 45 pounds, working in varying temperatures including cooler and freezer environments, and operating equipment like pallet jacks and floor scrubbers.
