Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Several years of culinary experience preferably in a hotel or large-scale food service environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
  • Commitment to upholding Hilton’s core values and standards

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in kitchen leadership roles such as sous chef or similar
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of menu development and food production
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with health safety and sanitation regulations in hospitality
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
  • Experience in banquet and outlet kitchen operations advantageous

Job Duties

  • Lead culinary team operations providing hands-on leadership and coaching to kitchen staff with a focus on outlets or banquets
  • Oversee production and service managing daily kitchen operations including creating and monitoring production lists completing line checks and expediting service periods
  • Enhance menu offerings by developing and implementing seasonal menus promotional features and daily specials
  • Promote cross-department collaboration fostering positive relationships between front of house and back of house teams
  • Provide administrative support assisting with inventory management ordering and scheduling
  • Uphold regulatory standards maintaining compliance with health safety sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations
