The role of Service Porter at ACERTUS is a full-time position offering a dynamic work environment within the company's operations team. The schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with a competitive hourly pay of $21. The Service Porter position is critical in maintaining vehicle flow and quality at the company's hub by performing essential duties such as moving and parking vehicles, maintaining their cleanliness, and managing inventory. This role requires close interaction with members of the Operations Team, Clients, and Vendors, making communication skills and attention to detail paramount.
The Service Porter is responsible for safely placing numbered tags on vehicle windshields, driving vehicles to designated parking spaces, and releasing vehicles as needed. They ensure the weekly inventory of vehicles is accurate and that vehicles are regularly serviced with gasoline, oil, and water. Other daily tasks include staging vehicles for pickup, running vehicles to and from repair, and taking client-requested photos to document vehicle condition. Additionally, Service Porters are tasked with patrolling the area to maintain security and prevent theft. This diverse set of responsibilities requires a committed individual capable of multitasking and adapting as necessary. Job Requirements
- Must be 23 years of age
- Candidates over the age of 65 subject to additional insurance review
- Candidates over the age of 65 must provide a letter of insurability from personal physician
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid regular driver's license
- Current and valid DOT medical card preferred
- Clean motor vehicle report
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Job Duties
- Place a numbered tag on a vehicle windshield to be parked
- Drive the vehicle to parking space or point out a parking space for the driver's use
- Receive and release vehicles
- Complete weekly inventory of vehicles at the hub
- Run vehicles to and from repair/maintenance shops
- Service vehicles with gasoline, oil, and water
- Stage vehicles for pickup
- Take photos of vehicles at client’s request
- Patrol area to maintain security and prevent theft
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management
