Job Description

Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS) is a renowned nonprofit, faith-based organization headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults by offering high-quality housing, care, and service options. Established in 1955, PHS has grown to become one of the largest nonprofit senior living providers in the nation. With a network of about 60 affiliated senior living communities throughout Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin, PHS delivers an array of services that promote independence, purposeful living, and overall well-being for older adults. They also operate through Optage® home and community services and co-own Genevive, Minnesota’s largest geriatric primary care practice, serving more than 15,500 older adults. The organization's mission is deeply rooted in Christian ministry values, focusing on honoring God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of older adults. Their culture emphasizes collaboration, support, empowerment, and growth for their employees, along with a dedication to creating a welcoming and vibrant community for residents and staff alike.

Stonecrest is a vibrant and welcoming community located in Woodbury, Minnesota, part of the PHS family. Situated in the heart of Woodbury, Stonecrest offers easy access to local amenities including skyway access to the indoor city park and YMCA, as well as proximity to restaurants and shops, all within walking distance. The community provides various care options, including assisted living, assisted living memory care, and senior apartments. Stonecrest prides itself on its close-knit, community-based team atmosphere, encouraging employees to find purpose and passion in their work by supporting older adults.

Currently, Stonecrest is seeking a Full-Time PM Server/Dishwasher to work from 3 pm to 7 pm. This role is ideal for individuals committed to the values of compassionate care and enabling a high-quality dining experience for residents. The Server/Dishwasher plays a critical role in ensuring that meals are prepared, served, and the dining environment is maintained according to established standards and regulations. The position pays between $19.09 and $20.59 per hour and offers a comprehensive benefits package, underscoring PHS’s commitment to employee well-being and growth.

The PM Server/Dishwasher position at Stonecrest offers an enriching work environment where the employee becomes part of a faith-driven team dedicated to meeting the needs of older adults with grace and dignity. The job involves not only assisting with meal preparation and serving but also maintaining a clean and welcoming dining atmosphere for residents. Employees at Stonecrest benefit from various amenities including off-street parking, discounted meals, free access to the fitness center, and participation in employee appreciation events.

PHS and Stonecrest emphasize their inclusive culture, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds and providing equal opportunity employment. The organization fosters a workplace environment guided by Christian values, focusing on loving one another and serving in ways that reflect grace. This makes the position not just a job but a calling to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors.

In summary, the PM Server/Dishwasher position at Stonecrest is an excellent opportunity for those who want to engage in purposeful work within a supportive, values-driven organization.
