The role of Restaurant Assistant Manager at Cinemark is a pivotal position responsible for supporting and leading the restaurant operations within the theater environment. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • regular and consistent attendance required
  • energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • ability to follow directions and manage time efficiently
  • frequent bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs
  • frequent standing and walking
  • able to work in a standing position for extended periods
  • complete basic food handling and alcohol service training
  • adherence to company policies and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school or G.E.D. graduate preferred
  • minimum 1-2 years of restaurant supervisory experience preferred
  • completion of three basic courses in Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program
  • valid food handling training and required certifications
  • completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program
  • excellent guest service skills
  • accurate cash handling and basic math ability
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and in a team
  • effective conflict resolution skills
  • bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Train and coach team members to serve food and drinks promptly and courteously
