The Reservations Manager position at Saint Johns Resort, a Schulte Hospitality Group property, is integral to the hotel's success and revenue management strategy. This role demands a dynamic individual with a service-oriented approach, adept at managing reservations operations while maximizing revenue performance. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, applying revenue management principles within reservations, monitoring booking pace, segmentations, and distribution channels, and supporting pricing strategies in collaboration with hotel leadership and corporate teams. The role also entails maintaining group and transient inventory, overseeing group processes such as rooming lists and billing, coordinating with internal departments and external partners, and enforcing reservation procedures aligned with revenue and service standards.

Leadership and team development are core components of this role, involving training, coaching, and development of the reservations team to uphold high service standards and operational efficiency. The Reservations Manager must thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, leveraging strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills. Job Duties

  • Support revenue performance through effective inventory and reservations management
  • apply revenue management principles within reservations operations to support overall hotel performance
  • review and interpret market and internal data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
  • assist in preparing and reviewing revenue reports and forecasts including 14-day and monthly outlooks
  • monitor booking pace, segmentation, and distribution channels to provide insights supporting pricing and inventory decisions
  • support execution of pricing strategies, packages, and brand initiatives in collaboration with hotel leadership and corporate teams
  • support channel management and ensure accuracy in rate and inventory distribution
