The role of Concierge at Discovery Village at Dominion Assisted Living is a vital position centered on enriching the lives of senior residents by providing a warm, welcoming presence and ensuring smooth daily operations. As the first point of contact for residents, families, guests, and team members, the Concierge plays an essential role in creating meaningful connections and assisting with various administrative and communication tasks. The position is full-time, scheduled from 2 PM to 10 PM including some weekends, and is based in San Antonio, Texas. The pay rate is competitive at 15.00 per hour. Responsibilities encompass managing incoming calls with professionalism, greeting and assisting visitors warmly, coordinating resident and family appointments, and maintaining organized front-desk operations. Additionally, the Concierge handles administrative duties such as preparing meal tickets, updating resident records, organizing community materials, and supporting marketing efforts. Job Duties
- Perform telephone answering and reception duties, managing internal and external calls professionally and courteously
- take accurate, detailed messages and ensure timely communication to the appropriate recipient
- greet residents, families, and visitors warmly
- respond to inquiries and provide directions as needed
- collate brochures and support marketing materials as requested
- prepare meal tickets for team members and family members
- tally meal count sheets for Dining Services
- maintain and update resident phone lists, rosters, move-in and move-out registers, guest logs, and sign-in sheets
- coordinate and manage resident and family appointments including transportation, salon services, and other community resources
- keep the front desk and entry areas clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- sort, organize, and distribute mail to residents, the Executive Director, and department coordinators
- maintain resident forms related to miscellaneous credits
- follow all company personnel policies, operating procedures, and confidentiality requirements
- perform other duties as assigned
