Job Description

Lowe's Companies, Inc. (NYSE: LOW) is a leading Fortune 100 home improvement company committed to delivering exceptional customer service and quality products to millions of customers weekly. With more than 1,700 stores, 530 branches, and 130 distribution centers across the United States, Lowe's serves a diverse customer base by helping them improve their homes and communities. Established in Mooresville, North Carolina, Lowe's has built a reputation for supporting local communities through initiatives that focus on creating safe and affordable housing, enhancing public spaces, developing skilled tradespeople through education and training programs, and providing disaster relief when needed. The company is known for fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and career development for its associates.

As a Receiver/Stocker at Lowe's, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment that is ready for customers at all times. This position involves accurately receiving freight deliveries, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise in the store and top stock areas. The role is physically demanding and fast-paced, requiring strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and safe lifting practices. You will spend the majority of your shift on your feet, working varied shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight, depending on the store's operational needs. Besides managing merchandise and equipment, you will also engage with customers and teammates, providing friendly and professional assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Lowe's Receiver/Stocker position offers a dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth. Whether you seek part-time employment or a long-term career path, Lowe's provides competitive wages, flexible schedules, and a comprehensive benefits package. Key benefits include multiple health insurance options to support your well-being, tuition assistance programs for continued education, company-matching 401(k) retirement plans, employee stock purchase programs, and an attractive associate discount. Additionally, Lowe's offers specialized training programs such as the Track to the Trades initiative, designed to help associates develop new trade skills and advance their careers.

In this role, your responsibilities will extend beyond basic stocking to include safely operating store equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, and scanners, supporting store operations by verifying deliveries, dock preparation, handling hazardous materials, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. For associates working in Pro Fulfillment stores, additional duties such as order picking using the Orders App, staging Flatbed Delivery orders, loading delivery vehicles, managing delivery quality and accuracy, and proactive communication with customers to ensure satisfaction will be required.

Lowe's values diversity and actively encourages applications from bilingual individuals, military personnel, veterans, and those with varying backgrounds to foster an inclusive workforce committed to community and customer service excellence. This role does not require regular travel, but occasional trips for meetings, training, or support of nearby stores may be necessary. Environmental conditions in the workplace may vary, including exposure to indoor and outdoor elements and moderate to heavy physical activity with lifting up to 75 pounds.

Join Lowe's as a Receiver/Stocker and become part of a dedicated team that contributes to the company's ongoing success and its mission to help customers create homes they love. Benefit from a company culture that promotes safety, respect, and career development while making a tangible impact on your community and personal growth.
