This opportunity is with a private family seeking an experienced and health-focused Private Household Chef to support their primary residence in Scottsdale, Arizona, with seasonal travel to Montecito, California. The family values simplicity, pristine sourcing of ingredients, and a professional, low-ego household environment. This role is ideal for a chef who is calm, organized, and passionate about creating clean, health-conscious meals. The household environment is one where the chef must work independently and autonomously while maintaining seamless communication with other household staff, including a California-based House Manager and a part-time Arizona-based Housekeeper.

Job Requirements
- Education and relevant culinary training preferred
- minimum of 5 years experience in private household or high-end residential chef positions
- must be able to work 5 days per week with occasional weekend and travel requirements
- ability to maintain professional discretion and confidentiality
- must have excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- comfortable working independently and anticipating needs
- willingness to adapt to seasonal residences and travel
- excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork attitude
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a private household chef or in a comparable residential setting
- demonstrated mastery of high-end ingredient sourcing including organic farms, specialty purveyors, and farmers’ markets
- strong understanding of clean, health-focused cooking with ability to execute simple, refined meals
- comfortable working independently and autonomously in private homes
- exceptional organizational skills including kitchen systems, inventory management, and advance preparation
- discreet and professional with experience maintaining confidentiality
- experience supporting principals beyond cooking including errands and light household assistance preferred
- flexible and adaptable to travel and changing schedules
- excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with household staff
Job Duties
- Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner (lunch and dinner are the priority)
- daily prep of fresh components including grains, vegetables, proteins, dressings
- maintain a well-stocked refrigerator for self-serve, healthy meals
- prepare and occasionally deliver meals to principals office
- support private dinners and small gatherings
- maintain a pristine, highly organized kitchen
- provide light household support such as errands
- coordinate seamlessly with existing household staff including house manager and part-time housekeeper
