Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in concierge, guest services, front desk, or similar guest-facing hospitality role
  • knowledge of the Colorado Springs area and enthusiasm for sharing it with guests
  • strong computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel property management systems
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • experience coordinating transportation or reservations is a plus
  • ability to remain active on feet throughout the shift
  • flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • some college or hospitality coursework is a plus
  • knowledge of food and beverage standards and presentation is a plus

Job Duties

  • Greeting and welcoming every guest who enters the M Lounge with a warm, sincere, and professional demeanor
  • serving as the primary resource for guests on hotel services, dining and entertainment recommendations, sightseeing opportunities, and tour arrangements
  • coordinating transportation needs for guests including car services and rideshares
  • staying fully informed of daily functions, VIP arrivals, and special events
  • ensuring food and beverage offerings in the club lounge meet quality and presentation standards
  • coordinating and supporting special events and projects as assigned
  • assisting guests with concerns related to hotel services, following through until satisfaction
  • maintaining full knowledge of front desk computer systems and operational tools
  • using proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with team members
  • complying with Pyramid Global Hospitality standards, policies, and regulations
  • being familiar with emergency procedures and assisting in emergencies
  • maintaining the highest standards of personal appearance and grooming
