Job Description

Tenfold Senior Living is a distinguished senior living community dedicated to providing outstanding care and enriching experiences for its residents. Renowned for its warm and collaborative environment, Tenfold fosters a workplace culture where employees not only grow professionally but also contribute meaningfully to the lives of seniors. As a leader in the senior living industry, Tenfold emphasizes the importance of compassion, curiosity, creativity, resilience, intention, and contribution, which are core to its mission and values. This commitment to excellence ensures that both residents and staff experience a supportive, engaging, and rewarding atmosphere every day.

Tenfold Senior Living is currently seeking talented cooks who are passionate about creating exceptional culinary experiences tailored to the unique tastes and needs of seniors. This is a prime opportunity for culinary professionals who enjoy working in a team-oriented setting and desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of community members. The role transcends traditional cooking duties by placing a strong emphasis on the personalization of meals that connect deeply with the residents’ individual preferences and life stories. As a cook, you will prepare dishes that are not only nutritious and safe but also interesting, innovative, comforting, traditional, and reminiscent of the residents’ own backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will be intimately involved in all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring rigorous cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards across all dining venues. Collaborating closely with the Culinary Director and fellow team members, you will work within standardized recipes and menus while adapting to resident-specific orders. Your day-to-day tasks will include prepping ingredients, measuring seasonings, labeling food items, setting up workstations, and diligently following production lists established by management. This role requires both technical skill and a heartfelt dedication to enhancing the quality of life for seniors through excellent cuisine.

Employment at Tenfold Senior Living offers a supportive framework for career advancement and personal development. The environment encourages ongoing learning and professional growth, aided by paid development opportunities and a strong team culture. Working hours are set from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and availability on weekends is necessary. All team members contribute to maintaining a COVID-safe workplace where health and safety are paramount. Tenfold values diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering an environment where every employee can thrive and contribute fully to the organization’s success.
