Job Requirements

Minimum of three years of experience as cook in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar institution or culinary advanced education
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
Effective communication skills
Ability to perform simple arithmetic and understand measurements and conversions
Ability to plan and organize work
Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
Willingness to obtain ServeSafe Certification within 6 months of hire date

ServeSafe Certified or ability to become certified within 6 months of hire date

Job Duties

Maintains assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition
Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code including federal and state regulations
Attends and completes in-service training and education sessions as assigned
Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Follows Marquette policies and procedures
