Currently, GreenView Senior Living Facility is seeking a Full-Time Line Cook to join their culinary team. This role is suited for individuals who possess at least 2 years of experience working as a Line Cook, with specific expertise in Short Order and From Scratch cooking methods. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, eager to work as part of a collaborative team, and passionate about preparing healthy, delicious meals from scratch, serving both lunch and dinner shifts.

As a Line Cook at GreenView, you will be responsible for applying your strong knife skills and proficiency with hot kitchen equipment, including fryers, griddles, grills, and steamers. A keen eye for plate presentation is essential, ensuring that each meal served not only meets nutritional standards but also appeals visually to the residents and guests. While ServSafe or Food Handler certification is preferred, it is not required, allowing room for candidates willing to learn and grow within the facility.

This position demands physical stamina as it involves standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation is a must due to the facility's location. Working hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a schedule that includes every other weekend and holidays on a rotation basis, offering candidates a balanced approach to work and personal life.

The role offers competitive compensation starting at $19 per hour, with benefit options and Paid Time Off after a 90-day probationary period. Candidates will be required to undergo background checks, a physical exam, and a drug screening as part of the hiring process.
