Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous relevant cooking experience
- Valid food handler certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties
- Ability to understand and follow recipes and safety guidelines
- Willingness to maintain cleanliness and comply with health standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience in a restaurant or high-volume full-service kitchen
- Food handler certification
- Trained in knife skills and basic kitchen equipment
- Ability to multitask under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Provide excellent food quality and consistency
- Manage culinary functions to meet food quality goals
- Stock and maintain sufficient food levels at line stations
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstations and kitchen equipment
- Comply with hotel and restaurant policies and procedures
- Prepare and present menu items according to standards
- Assist in daily cleaning of kitchen and prep areas
