- minimum of one year restaurant or senior living cooking experience
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- capability to work varying hours including some weekends
- strong attention to detail
- good physical stamina for standing and cooking tasks
- willingness to embrace and uphold a culture of hospitality

- strong knowledge of cooking preparation and production
- ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation

Job Duties
- Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization at all times
- adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards
- produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional and dietary criteria
- prepare diets according to policy and procedure
- demonstrate cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency
- assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary
- visit residents periodically to evaluate food service including quality, quantity, temperature, and appearance and conduct evaluations to improve operations
- represent the community in a warm and inviting manner to create a positive marketing environment
- support a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive revenue and occupancy
