Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- AST certification
- ability to perform essential job functions including standing, walking, lifting up to 40 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 60 pounds
- ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence in English
- ability to perform basic mathematical operations
- commitment to participate in company training
- willingness to apply common sense understanding and resolve problems
- ability to handle physical demands and work environment conditions as described
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- complete company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and department manager training
- AST-certified
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively under pressure and with distractions
- commitment to unparalleled customer service
Job Duties
- Assist in managing and supervising up to 12 associates in the Starbucks Department
- order and receive products
- complete paperwork
- interview and train associates
- plan, assign, and direct work
- assist in appraising performance
- reward and discipline associates
- address complaints and resolve problems
