The role of a Housekeeper at Atlantic Shores is an excellent entry-level opportunity that offers a chance to become part of a well-organized team and work environment where there are no late nights and a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, typically from 8 am to 4:30 pm. This full-time, seasonal position extends until September 2026 and provides a competitive hourly wage based on years of experience. In addition to the salary, employees enjoy a comprehensive compensation package that includes generous paid time off starting with a maximum of 104 hours annually, 1.5 times holiday pay, overtime pay for hours over 40 per week, and a referral bonus for recommending new employees. Their responsibilities encompass general housekeeping duties like vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting bathrooms and kitchens, window cleaning, and maintaining carpets, baseboards, doors, furnishings, and trash removal. Additionally, they help keep essential supplies such as linens and towels well stocked. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to sanitation and safety protocols, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with the team, residents, and supervisors. Job Duties
- Communicates and works as a team to maintain the cleanliness of resident areas while respecting personal property and space
- Vacuums, mops, dusts, cleans, and disinfects bathrooms and kitchens
- Cleans windows, carpets, baseboards, doors, and furnishings
- Empties trash bins and other tasks as requested by supervisor
- Keeps fresh linens, towels, and cleaning supplies stocked
- Uses a high level of detail while cleaning and adheres to sanitation and safety procedures
