We are currently representing a wonderful family residing in Pacific Heights, San Francisco, who is seeking a dedicated full-time Housekeeper/Household Assistant. The family consists of four members, including two young boys aged 7 and 8, living in a spacious 5,000+ square foot home. They take immense pride in maintaining an immaculately clean, organized, and well-kept household, and they are looking to hire a candidate who shares similar high standards for home care.

This role is a full-time position with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm, with occasional weekend coverage required. The salary offered ranges from $50 to $55 per hour, complemented with paid time off, paid holidays, sick days, and a monthly health stipend contribution between $300 and $500. The family values long-term employment and fosters an environment that respects and appreciates their household staff.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience working in a private home setting and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and pride in their work. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a lively, busy family atmosphere and feels comfortable around school-age children. Although there are two dogs in the home, pet care is managed entirely by the mother, so the successful candidate’s responsibilities will not include dog-related duties. However, occasional letting the dogs out onto the balcony may be needed.

As the Housekeeper/Household Assistant, primary duties will focus on thorough cleaning, laundry, ironing, linen changes, and maintaining a consistently high standard of organization throughout the home for about three days each week. Additional days are devoted to household support tasks such as light tidying, kitchen resets, restocking supplies, and being a reliable adult presence for the children after school, which involves supervision rather than active childcare. Occasional assistance with household errands or logistical tasks will also be expected.

The family provides a parking permit for convenience, and they prioritize a trustworthy, reliable, and discreet individual who can integrate seamlessly as part of their household team. Great references and a successful background check are mandatory preconditions for employment.
