The role of Room Attendant at Schulte Hospitality Group is an exciting full-time opportunity, primarily focused on maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms and public areas to a company-mandated standard. The schedule includes day shifts starting at 8 am on weekdays and 9 am on weekends, with weekend and holiday work required. Sundays are mandatory for this position. Room Attendants ensure rooms are supplied with clean linen, bedding, towels, and essential items such as soap, tissues, and drinking glasses. They must follow all safety and security procedures outlined by the hotel and maintain knowledge of the property's services and surroundings, including nearby malls and restaurants. This role requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and a team-player mentality, all while aiming to exceed guest expectations.

Job Requirements

  • Hotel experience preferred but not required
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to stand majority of shift, bend, push, and/or lift up to 25-35 pounds

Job Duties

  • Ensure that rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized to company-mandated standards
  • Ensures that rooms have clean linen, bedding and towels
  • Understands and follows all safety and security procedures as mandated by the hotel
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel property, hotel staff, hotel services, hotel service hours of operation, and hotel surroundings (i.e. mall, restaurants)
  • Ensures that rooms are stocked with soap, tissues, drinking glasses, etc.
  • Identify items that guests have left behind and report items utilizing hotel's lost and found procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
