Job Description
Cypress Cove is a distinguished Life Plan Community spanning 60 acres, renowned for offering senior living with the highest level of independence. As a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), Cypress Cove provides an exceptional living experience that combines unmatched amenities, fine dining, and refined décor, creating a welcoming and upscale environment for its residents. The campus encompasses a full continuum of care that includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, and Rehabilitation services. This ensures that residents receive personalized and attentive care tailored to their unique needs, enabling them to enjoy a vibrant and fulfilling lifestyle.
Cypress Cove prides itself on maintaining a resident-staff rapport that is both engaging and friendly, reflecting its commitment to creating a community where residents feel cherished and staff members feel valued. The workplace culture emphasizes respect, kindness, and enthusiasm, making it an inviting place to work. The organization is steadfast in its commitment to equal opportunity employment and maintains a drug-free and tobacco-free environment, underscoring its dedication to health and wellness.
Currently, Cypress Cove is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join its Environmental Services team. This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some alternating weekends and holidays. There is also a shift option from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The role offers competitive pay at $16 per hour and focuses on supporting the community by upholding cleanliness, safety, and a healthy environment throughout the campus.
As a Housekeeper, you will be instrumental in maintaining the appearance and sanitation standards of a beautiful community dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors. Your responsibilities will include cleaning resident apartments and rooms across various care levels, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing areas. In addition to private living quarters, you will also clean common areas such as corridors, restrooms, offices, break rooms, utility and storage areas, courtyards, and recreation and exercise spaces. Occasionally, duties may extend to laundry areas.
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone compassionate, detail-oriented, and service-driven, with a sincere desire to improve the daily experiences of residents. While experience in senior living is advantageous, it is not required. Cypress Cove values individuals who bring kindness, a cheerful disposition, and excellent communication skills to their work. Your efforts will help maintain a safe and beautiful setting that residents are proud to call home.
Joining Cypress Cove means becoming part of a team that values flexible work schedules with no late nights, access to wages after payday, and the chance to build lasting relationships with residents. The organization appreciates passion and enthusiasm in its employees and offers numerous benefits including competitive health coverage, continuing education opportunities with tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, a retirement plan with a 6% company match, and more. Employees also enjoy daily free salad bars and homemade soups, free telemedicine for family members, free employee clinic sick visits, milestone gifts, and referral bonus programs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals seeking a stable, full-time role in a supportive and dynamic senior living environment. If you want to make a meaningful difference in seniors’ lives while working in a respectful and appreciative organization, Cypress Cove encourages you to apply.
