Job Description
Clens Cleaning is a reputable and trusted cleaning service company operating in San Diego, dedicated to serving over 200 families with an outstanding 4.9-star rating. Founded by Pat, the company distinguishes itself from other cleaning services by placing a strong emphasis on valuing and investing in its employees rather than treating them as disposable labor. This approach has fostered a loyal and motivated workforce that consistently delivers high-quality cleaning services to clients in luxury neighborhoods such as Del Mar, La Jolla, and Carmel Valley. Clens Cleaning is a full-time employment opportunity and offers competitive pay between $600 and $1,000+ per week, supplemented by client tips and a potential bonus of up to $1,000 based on positive 5-star reviews.
The cleaning role at Clens Cleaning is designed for individuals who are not only passionate about maintaining cleanliness but who also value consistent teamwork, professional growth, and work-life balance. Employees typically clean two to four homes per day and work alongside the same teammates regularly, allowing for a supportive work environment. Most workdays conclude by 3-4 PM with no requirement to work nights or weekends, making this position attractive for those seeking a stable schedule.
What makes this job notably appealing is the comprehensive training provided from day one, designed to ensure every team member is well-prepared and confident in their duties. The company offers a two-week paid training program instead of expecting new hires to figure things out independently. There is a clear and structured career path available for employees, including advancement opportunities from Cleaner to Lead Trainer, Office Assistant Manager, and eventually Manager as the company expands.
Clens Cleaning values stability, respect, and a professional environment. All team members are W2 employees with workers’ compensation and workplace protections, which emphasizes the company’s commitment to employee welfare. The company fosters a culture of respect where clients appreciate quality and treat cleaning staff well, maintaining a drama-free work environment by promptly addressing any toxic behavior.
Candidates must meet several requirements, such as living within a 30-minute commute of key areas served, possessing a valid driver's license and reliable car, being physically capable of performing cleaning tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs, and demonstrating fluency in English. Punctuality, accountability, teamwork, reliability, and a service-oriented mindset are central to the role, aligning with Clens Cleaning's STAR Standard, which stands for Serve, Teammate, Accountable, and Reliable.
This job is not suitable for individuals who are routinely late, bring workplace drama, do the bare minimum, or are merely seeking any job without commitment. Instead, it is ideal for those who take pride in their work, want to build a tangible career in the cleaning industry, enjoy working with a professional team, and aspire to be requested by clients repeatedly. Clens Cleaning is building something different in an industry desperately needing improvement and invites highly motivated individuals to apply and grow with them.
