The role in question centers on delivering SMART customer service in alignment with Lowe’s customer service policies, procedures, and programs. - 1 year retail experience as a cashier
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

- Supervisory experience including directing, delegating, evaluating, training, and coaching employees
- Retail experience detecting common signs of shoplifting and theft
Job Duties
- Provide SMART customer service according to Lowe's policies and programs
- Assist customers by locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
- Respond to customer and employee questions promptly by guiding them through the store and projects
- Communicate detailed product, special order, warranty, and program information to customers
- Coach, develop, provide feedback, and train associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities
- Operate cash register for sales transactions, returns, and refunds following company guidelines
- Monitor store security, detect shoplifting, and report security risks
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the store
- Prepare register areas for operation at the start and end of shifts
- Use store equipment as needed and complete cash counting and reconciliation
- Process customer orders, verify receipts, and manage inventory records
- Monitor cash drawer and recycler levels to comply with limits
- Assist in line management during peak times and open additional registers if necessary
- Enforce safety protocols including top stock safety and use of safety devices
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
