The Green Animals Topiary Garden, located in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, is the oldest and most northern topiary garden in the United States. The role available at the Green Animals Topiary Garden is a dynamic position designed to support the garden's daily operations through a combination of horticultural care, site and facilities maintenance, and property security functions. The incumbent will work hands-on across multiple areas to ensure the gardens, buildings, and grounds are well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for all guests. This position will allow the successful candidate to be actively engaged in a variety of tasks, from lawn care and plant maintenance to visitor assistance and emergency response coordination. The work schedule for this role is Wednesday through Sunday, working 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This schedule offers a structured workweek aligned with the garden's visitor flow and operational needs.
