Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or guest service role preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in property management systems
- Ability to handle cash transactions and basic bookkeeping
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and follow established hotel policies
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel front desk or guest service role preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in property management systems and basic office software like Word and Excel
- Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic bookkeeping tasks
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow hotel policies
Job Duties
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests upon arrival
- Verify guest credit and establish payment methods
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts
- Compute bills, collect payments, and balance cash accounts
- Issue room keys and provide instructions to bell attendants
- Review accounts and charges with guests during check-out
- Post charges for rooms, food, beverages, and other services
- Transmit and receive guest messages
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest issues
- Make and confirm guest reservations
- Answer inquiries about hotel services and local attractions
