Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a hotel front desk or guest service role preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in property management systems
  • Ability to handle cash transactions and basic bookkeeping
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow established hotel policies
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hotel front desk or guest service role preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in property management systems and basic office software like Word and Excel
  • Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests upon arrival
  • Verify guest credit and establish payment methods
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts
  • Compute bills, collect payments, and balance cash accounts
  • Issue room keys and provide instructions to bell attendants
  • Review accounts and charges with guests during check-out
  • Post charges for rooms, food, beverages, and other services
  • Transmit and receive guest messages
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest issues
  • Make and confirm guest reservations
  • Answer inquiries about hotel services and local attractions
