Job Description

Integrated Support Solutions Inc. (ISSI) is a pioneering organization committed to transforming the delivery of nutrition, culinary arts, environmental services, and leadership within clinical settings. Specializing in partnerships with hospitals, long-term care, and rehabilitation facilities, ISSI's mission is to elevate the patient experience by empowering the healthcare professionals who serve them. At the heart of ISSI’s philosophy lies the belief that optimal healing occurs through a harmonious collaboration between a patient’s medical treatment and their nutritional intake, embodying what true healthcare is meant to be.

ISSI stands out as a distinguished provider of food and nutrition services with a fine-dining approach adapted to hospital environments. Their team, made up of elite chefs and dietitians, is dedicated to enhancing not only the quality of food provided to patients but also ensuring that it aligns perfectly with medical dietary orders. This integration fosters an environment that promotes faster recovery and better health outcomes.

In addition to their nutritional focus, ISSI values the critical role of Environmental Services Specialists in maintaining a safe, sanitary, and healing hospital environment. These specialists are crucial in ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of patient rooms, particularly when dealing with vulnerable populations who rely heavily on a safe and trustworthy space for recovery. ISSI’s Environmental Services Specialists are experts in sanitation and infection prevention, utilizing advanced cleaning equipment and strict protocols to uphold the highest standards of hospital hygiene.

ISSI currently has a full-time opening for an Environmental Services (EVS) and Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) Specialist/Housekeeper at a cutting-edge hospital in the Lubbock area. This unique role requires individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, punctual, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. The candidate should demonstrate a self-starting attitude with a focus on teamwork and professionalism, ensuring that patients and staff alike experience the highest quality of support.

The responsibilities encompass a diverse set of duties including cleaning hospital areas, managing biohazardous waste, assisting patients with menu selections, and preparing food trays using specialized equipment. The position demands a meticulous approach to cleaning, including isolation and terminal cleaning procedures, as well as proficiency in operating cleaning machinery such as auto scrubbers and burnishers. Additionally, the role involves cleaning medical equipment and ensuring the proper storage of sharps and soiled linens, reflecting the commitment to comprehensive patient safety.

Joining ISSI means becoming part of a culture dedicated to service excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth. The company offers numerous benefits such as tuition reimbursement, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement, supporting the career and personal development of their employees.
