The role of Event Manager at CDS is a full-time position essential to the operational success of product demonstration programs within Costco stores. This role centers on leading the recruitment, hiring, and ongoing management of in-store Product Demonstrators, crucial personnel who engage shoppers and elevate product visibility through exceptional preparation and presentation. As Event Manager, you will be tasked with ensuring that every product demonstration meets stringent standards of food safety and sanitation while maintaining superior customer service. Your leadership will be pivotal in delivering training programs that prepare demonstrators to represent products confidently and effectively.

Beyond managing people, the Event Manager acts as a key liaison among multiple stakeholders, including managers, vendors, and demonstrators, coordinating efforts and facilitating communication to execute seamless events. Occasional involvement in new store grand openings will provide higher-level engagement opportunities and exposure to broader operational initiatives. The role offers a consistent Tuesday through Saturday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with a workplace environment that prioritizes balance and employee well-being. Job Requirements
