This company operates in the vehicle auction sector, which involves the organized, efficient sale of cars, trucks, and other motor vehicles to dealers and the public. Known for its commitment to safety and operational excellence, this company facilitates the movement, staging, and sale of vehicles in a way that maximizes efficiency and customer satisfaction. The business atmosphere is fast-paced and demands attention to detail, safety consciousness, and teamwork. The company offers a full-time employment opportunity with a structured shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This position is hourly paid at a rate of $15.13 and may include eligibility for additional compensation through commissions or incentive programs, reflecting performance and contributions to the company's success. Being an Equal Opportunity Employer, the company supports inclusion and diversity, welcoming qualified candidates irrespective of background or disability status.
The role primarily focuses on the safe and efficient movement of vehicles on auction property, as well as driving vehicles to and from the auction lots and customer locations. The selected candidate will be responsible for maneuvering vehicles safely through auction sale lanes on designated sale days, ensuring adherence to established safety protocols and driving rules. The position requires the physical ability to operate and position vehicles, including standard and automatic transmission types, to line up and park vehicles based on supervisory instructions, and to locate misplaced or “lost” vehicles on the premises. In addition to driving responsibilities, the role may involve basic vehicle maintenance assistance such as inflating tires and jump-starting cars. The person in this role must demonstrate strong communication skills, assist customers and colleagues courteously, and actively participate in safety-oriented activities aligned with a culture of Safety Excellence. Physical endurance is essential as the job requires walking long distances, entering and exiting vehicles frequently, and performing various movement-related tasks. The work environment involves exposure to outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the auction and requires a commitment to safety, professionalism, and teamwork to support both customers and the internal team effectively.
