Job Description

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is a leading food and support services company dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the communities it serves. Specializing in providing dining services primarily for healthcare, rehabilitation, and long-term care facilities, HCSG prioritizes quality, nutrition, and exceptional customer service. The organization is committed to fostering a collaborative work environment that values diversity, inclusion, and employee growth. With a focus on creating positive dining experiences, HCSG employs a team of professionals who are passionate about promoting health and well-being through nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs of each resident.

The Dietary Cook position at HCSG is a vital role within a long-term care setting, responsible for preparing and cooking nutritious meals according to carefully planned menus and recipes. The role requires an individual who is attentive to food quality, taste, and presentation, ensuring that each meal meets HCSG’s high standards. Dietary Cooks play an essential part in adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, which is critical in a healthcare setting. Beyond meal preparation, the role involves assisting with inventory management, ordering supplies, and providing outstanding customer service by engaging positively with residents, staff, and guests. HCSG offers a starting pay rate of $20.00 per hour and provides a $3,000 90-day retention bonus to incentivize new hires. The company also supports its employees with a range of benefits including free telemedicine services, a free prescription discount program, employee assistance programs, financial wellness support, and career development opportunities. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about cooking, have experience in food preparation, and desire to work in a supportive environment where their work directly contributes to the well-being of others. HCSG emphasizes a safe working environment and expects compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies and food safety certifications as applicable by state or county law. Joining HCSG not only means securing a stable and rewarding job but also becoming part of a team dedicated to making a positive difference in residents’ lives through exceptional dietary services.
