Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one to three years relevant experience and/or training
- commitment to customer service
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- willingness to participate in required training
- knowledge of computer software including inventory and word processing
- ability to perform basic mathematical operations
- physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods
- ability to read and write in English
- ability to apply common sense and problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- knowledge of HT Internet software, e-mail, inventory software, spreadsheet software and word processing software
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- commitment to unparalleled customer service
- ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions and correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Job Duties
- Assist to manage and supervise up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department
- perform duties of baker, fryer, cake decorator, fresh foods clerks, and chef
- interview and train associates
- plan, assign, and direct work
- assist in appraising performance
- reward and discipline associates
- address complaints and resolve problems
