The Utility Cleaning Crew position is a full-time day shift role based in Penn Hills, Pittsburgh East Area, designed for hard-working and experienced janitors. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing office buildings, ensuring all assigned areas such as entrances, lobbies, conference rooms, restrooms, stairwells, and hallways meet the company’s strict cleaning standards. The crew members work starting at 7 am, with shifts generally lasting around 6 to 8 hours depending on the workload. The schedule is Monday through Friday with optional weekend work. Employees will use company-provided vehicles, equipment, and cleaning materials after reporting to the main QSI office. Experience with floor care and carpet cleaning is considered a plus and can influence compensation.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, empty trash cans
- Clean and maintain entrances, lobbies, offices, conference rooms, lounges, restrooms, stairwells, hallways, and assigned areas
- Use company-provided vehicles, equipment, and cleaning products
- Work independently or as part of a team to ensure cleaning standards are met
- Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues encountered during cleaning
- Assist with floor and carpet cleaning as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
