This full-time Customer Service Supervisor position is based in Shelby Township, MI, and offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic retail team. The role commands a strong leadership focus, overseeing daily operations within the cash office while supporting a sales-driven culture that prioritizes exceptional customer interactions. The Customer Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising associates, managing register and cash balancing procedures, authorizing voided transactions, and handling over/short research, ensuring all financial operations are accurate and efficient.
Beyond managing cash office functions, this supervisory position involves engaging directly with customers, helping solve their shopping needs, and ensuring that every individual feels respected and valued. The role supports Omni and Freight flow processes and helps communicate current merchandise offerings, store promotions, and events to customers. An important element of the position is driving authentic hospitality experiences, maintaining consistent sales floor operations, assisting with fitting rooms and point of sale activities, and contributing to a positive shopping environment.
Training, onboarding, and developing team members also fall under the supervisor's responsibilities, as does monitoring associate performance and providing constructive feedback in collaboration with upper management. Additionally, the supervisor helps customers save with Kohl's Card promotions, including opening and activating applications. The pay range for this role is between $18.10 to $23.10 per hour, reflecting the importance of this leadership role within the store.

Job Duties
- Overseeing daily functions of the cash office ie register and cash balancing, change orders, authorizing voided transactions, supplies, over/short research
- Supervising associates to help support a sales driving culture while focusing on creating a consistent customer experience
- Engaging and connecting with customers to solve their shopping needs, making everyone feel respected, appreciated and rewarded
- Overseeing Omni and freight flow processes
- Informing customers of current merchandise assortment, store promotions, and events
- Delivering a consistent sales floor experience by supporting the sales floor, fitting rooms, point of sale, and operational processes
- Building customer connections and executing an authentic hospitality experience
- Helping customers save with a Kohl’s Card, opening and activating Kohl’s Card applications
- Observing associate performance and providing feedback in partnership with Assistant Manager/Store Manager
- Onboarding, training and developing associates
