Job Description

Hilton is a leading global hospitality company renowned for its diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts ranging from luxurious full-service properties to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels. Established in 1919, Hilton has consistently set the benchmark for quality, service, and innovation in the hospitality industry. With nearly a century of experience, Hilton continues to attract both business and leisure travelers by providing exceptional accommodations, superior service, and excellent amenities designed to offer value and comfort. The company is committed to maintaining its tradition of delivering outstanding guest experiences across its worldwide brands. Hilton’s vision is to "fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality," and it is the passion and dedication of its Team Members that help bring this vision to life every day.

The Cook III position at Hilton is a vital role within the hotel’s culinary team, focused on preparing, maintaining, and monitoring the quality of hot food items including meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, and seasonings. This role plays an essential part in ensuring guests receive outstanding service through well-prepared and appealing food offerings that meet Hilton’s high standards for quality and taste. The Cook III contributes directly to the financial profitability of the hotel by efficiently preparing dishes that meet designated recipes and maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. This position requires availability during mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the round-the-clock nature of the hospitality industry.

As a Cook III, you will be responsible for preparing guest orders in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner, always adhering to quality standards. You will visually inspect all food items before service, ensuring cleanliness, appetizing presentation, and compliance with food safety regulations at the federal, state, and local levels as well as company policies. Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment is a critical part of this job, ensuring food handling and storage procedures are followed rigorously to guarantee guest safety and satisfaction.

The Cook III position is compensated at an hourly Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) rate of $33.27. New hires begin earning 80 percent of this rate ($26.62) during their first six months, followed by 90 percent ($29.94) during the subsequent six months. After this period, employees will receive the full CBA rate. This structured pay progression rewards commitment and performance within the esteemed Hilton team.

Hilton looks for a Cook III who embodies the company’s core values: hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a sense of urgency. Ideal candidates are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, demonstrate high levels of quality and productivity, can dependably manage their responsibilities, maintain customer focus, and are adaptable to the dynamic hospitality environment. Joining Hilton means becoming part of a globally recognized brand dedicated to excellence in service and hospitality, where each Team Member contributes to creating remarkable experiences for guests around the world.
