Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full Time Cook to join our team of dedicated professionals. This role is essential in ensuring that our residents receive nutritious, timely, and high-quality meals prepared with care and attention. The cook will be responsible for meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, maintaining cleanliness and safety within the kitchen, and supporting the overall dining experience of our residents. The successful candidate will be someone who thrives in a team environment, embraces learning new food preparation techniques, and understands the importance of accommodating special dietary needs specific to our senior population.

The Cook position requires a candidate who is dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work independently without constant supervision. Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards is mandatory, as well as familiarity with proper food handling and equipment safety. The role includes ordering, receiving, and rotating stock alongside the Food Service Director to ensure inventory quality and availability. The ability to communicate effectively and resolve any customer concerns or conflicts with professionalism is crucial for success. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year cooking experience including short order and quantity cooking
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain ServSafe certification upon hire
  • Ability to communicate effectively
