Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year cooking experience including short order and quantity cooking
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain ServSafe certification upon hire
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Willingness to learn new food preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of special dietary needs and meal preparation techniques
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to handle conflict and customer complaints effectively
  • Ability to multitask
  • Follow all food safety and equipment safety procedures
  • Comply with community quality standards
  • Dependable and self-motivated

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure efficient, timely, and friendly service to residents and staff
  • Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures
  • Prepare and present high-quality food items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Order, receive, and rotate stock in coordination with the Food Service Director
  • Follow recipes to ensure consistency
  • Assist with meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations
  • Comply with food safety and community quality standards
