Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking experience required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior living preferred, Familiarity with production methods and portion control, Knowledge of food handling safety standards, Strong organizational skills, Effective communication skills, Attention to detail and presentation skills, Ability to work weekends
Job Duties
- Prepare hot and cold menu items, Ensure proper preparation and portioning of foods, Follow standardized recipes and menu cycles, Taste and prepare food to confirm quality and palatability, Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, Communicate effectively with kitchen and service teams, Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
