Job Description
New Season Treatment Centers have served as a nationally recognized leader in outpatient treatment for individuals struggling with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) for over 30 years. With a network of more than 70 treatment centers across multiple states, New Season provides comprehensive and compassionate care that integrates medication-assisted treatment along with counseling, support services, and care management. Their approach not only addresses the physical aspects of opioid dependency but also identifies and treats the underlying causes of addiction, offering a full continuum of care to support patients' journeys towards sustained recovery. The organization is committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and best-in-class treatment, bolstered by a compassionate team that prioritizes patient well-being and recovery outcomes.
The role available is a Cashier position at one of New Season Treatment Centers. This position plays a key administrative and financial role within the outpatient clinic environment, focusing on managing patient payments, insurance claims, and credit activities. The Cashier will be tasked with handling cash flow, processing payments accurately using financial software (such as Methasoft), coordinating patient reception activities, and enforcing credit policies to ensure the clinic's financial integrity. This role requires strong math and computer skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal communication, especially as it involves frequent interactions with patients and staff in a fast-paced, sometimes high-stress healthcare environment. While prior healthcare or billing experience is preferred, training in Methasoft is available for candidates with the right foundational skills. The position also requires maintaining confidentiality with patient and clinic financial information, reconciling daily payment activities, filing insurance documentation, and reporting discrepancies promptly to the Program Director. Candidates must be able to work effectively within teams and contribute to smooth front-office operations that optimize patient service and clinic efficiency.
